ACE E-Manifest for Trucking Companies Gets Delivered on Time
 Regulations
for trucks crossing the border between Canada and the United States has changed significantly since 9/11. US Customs and Border Protection
(CBP) will soon be requiring electronic manifest (e-manifest) submissions with information on crews, trucks, trailers, and shipments going to the US before trucks arrive at the border.
Axon has added a new option to send ACE (Automated Commercial Environment)
e-manifests. The software combines new load data with stored data so that, at the click of a button, the required manifest can be sent to US Customs
and Border Protection (CBP) directly from the Axon system. There is no need to duplicate any information to an outside system.

Axon's ACI eManifest Application is Ready to Roll
If you are moving loads into Canada you need to be
aware of the upcoming Canadian border ACI eManifest
requirements. The ACI eManifest is similar to the
current ACE eManifest that is required by U.S. Customs
and Border Protection (CBP) when transporting into the
United States. The current ACI eManifest rollout
timeline is detailed on the
Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) web site with
an Oct. 31, 2010 live date for EDI users.
