Axons Online Documentation : Help!Axon software comes with online documentation to help you use the system more effectively. This can be really helpful for new employees who are still getting the hang of the system and for more experienced employees who are looking for additional information.
Help is set up in five sections: Concepts explain basic terminology for people who are new to trucking or accounting (e.g. FIFO or First In First Out to explain the costing of inventory items) Reference provides screen-by-screen information about things to remember, things to avoid and links to other screens How do I? give step-by-step instructions on how to carry out specific procedures (e.g. How do I import fuel downloads? or How do I set up a satellite interface?) Tips are shortcuts to help you work more quickly and efficiently (e.g. navigation tips for Dispatching) Troubleshooting is designed to help you solve a problem (e.g. Why doesn’t my foreign bank account balance match my actual bank balance?)
You can access help from a number of different places: There are Help and How do I buttons on every screen that take you to the Reference and How Do I information for that particular screen You can review the Help for an entire application (e.g. Payroll) by using the Help button on the application’s main screen The How do I button on each module’s main screen provides a pull down list of the key procedures for that section The Help button on the Contents tab will take you to the menu screen for the whole of Help New Users The General Help is particularly useful for new users as it includes navigation tips and How do I explaining basic procedures (How do I attach a document?, How do I use Select?). Experienced Users Experienced customers appreciate the links to related information (e.g. further information about Satellite options) as well as the Tips and Troubleshooting. Advanced how do I, such as How do I verify our company’s W2 information?, are also useful. Contact Axon And, if you still have unanswered questions,
don’t hesitate to contact Axon by email or phone – there’s a Contact
Axon button on every screen.
