Freight Rates

Freight rates can be set up for specific customers, or groups of customers, and for different types of commodities and equipment.

For example, you might have rates for hauling diesel fuel by the mile, another for gas, and a third for aviation fuel. You can have multiple rates for multiple customers, or multiple rates for the same customer.

Update: New Freight Rate options

Axon has added several new Freight Rate features:

You can now set up a freight rate based on either quantity or billable mileage.
You will receive an automatic warning when you try to use a freight rate that has expired or that is not yet effective.
In addition Axon has added a Comments section to the Freight Rates Report to provide explanations and additional information
