“Just Do It”

Fox Transport Co. of Paxton, IL, hauls oversized air conditioners throughout the US  East of the Rockies. Fox’s President, Wilma Kuznacki, along with staffers Jodie Luebchow and Alycia Carter, spoke to us about their “Axon Experience.” 

You looked at many software systems when you needed to upgrade from your old software. What made you decide to pick Axon?

Yes, it is for me. I do all the billing, and the payroll, and all the miscellaneous entries we have to make. And I love it. The change was scary at first, but it’s really very simple. - Jodie Luebchow

Wilma: “I didn’t find another program that did everything, where you put an entry in and it goes everywhere it’s supposed to. Axon was the most integrated program that I could find. It’s perfect. I love this system; it’s so easy.”

How have you found dealing with Axon’s support people?

Jodie: “They’re all really good. I usually email our main support contact if I have a problem, and she gets right back to me, probably in ten minutes.”

Has Axon helped improve your driver statements?

Jodie: “We used to have to manually write their deductions, such as advances, shop charges and so on, at the bottom of their statements. The thing that I like about the Axon statement is that now we can just put it in the computer, and everything comes out perfectly.”

Wilma: “The fuel tax program is much better too. On our old system, we had to make separate entries for fuel and for the trip reports. Now that’s just one entry. It’s lovely.”

Do you think Axon has helped save you some time?

Jodie: “Looking up old freight bills and so on is where I save the most time because all I have to do is pick something to search by and it pops right up. That’s a lot easier than the old system.

In the past, we could spend literally hours looking for paperwork, and now it takes seconds. If we have customers calling for information, it takes us a lot less time to get back to them.”

Wilma: “And actually, the piles on my desk are smaller than they used to be.”

Jodie: “Yes they are.”

Have you found Axon easier to use than your old system?

Jodie: “Yes, it is for me. I do all the billing, and the payroll, and all the miscellaneous entries we have to make. And I love it. The change was scary at first, but it’s really very simple.”

Alycia: “I’ve just worked with Axon on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and it’s really smooth.”

Wilma: “The girls caught on fantastically. They got it, right from the beginning. We think we made the right decision, moving to Axon.”

What would you say to another owner if they were on the fence about buying the Axon software?

Wilma: “Do it! There’s not much more to say. Just do it!”
